Productive workplace
Tutor (Current Employee) - Pretoria, Gauteng - 12 June 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedGreat company! Great work for students. Some support managers are amazing, and friendly and will get back to you quickly others are hard to contact and you could wait weeks for a response

Flexible and easy to use platform
Tutor (Current Employee) - Remote - 24 July 2023
I love how easy the tutoring platform is. It is easy to track tutoring dates for different students and make changes accordingly. Other tutoring companies don't have such platforms. Payments are always on time and there isn't much admin when it comes to confirming lessons. New tutoring gigs are hard to come by though

Beneficial for Unemployed graduates
Private tutor (Current Employee) - Pretoria, Gauteng - 31 May 2023
Its quite great for people who are seeking employment after graduation. Students can also do it part time for extra cash while studying. It provides that flexibility

Not what they advertise
Customer Support Manager (Former Employee) - Cape Town, Western Cape - 11 April 2023
Teach Me 2 sounds like a great company when you read or hear about them and they give off that the company as a great, family like culture, however, they do not present what and how they advertise themselves. No fairness and lack of support from management. Not giving the necessary training if you did something incorrect, instead they try to work you out
Pros
Hour lunch, remote work
Cons
No benefits, lack of support from management, company culture they advertise is not what the company presents

Its a good jobe to practice teaching and make some money
Tutor (Current Employee) - South Africa - 25 November 2022
I would have to say that they do a really good job at providing you with clients. One of the better tutoring companies out there. also the system they have in place does a lot of the work of logging data for you Instead of expecting the tutor to do all the work of. I would recommend it to other tutors, they are fair.
Pros
they do a good job at finding clients for you during the active school and university months.
Cons
after the busy season there is a long period with no work unfortunately, but this common for tutors in general.

Fast paced - Supportive - Fun Working Environment
Sales Development Representative (Former Employee) - Remote - 28 October 2022
It is an extremely fast paced working environment, but they have an amazing work culture and put a lot of focus on staff wellness and your capacity to do your job. The job is remote, but you never feel alone. Teach Me 2 have nailed working remotely and would highly recommend them to potential future employees.

Easy going
Part-time Tutor (Current Employee) - Pretoria, Gauteng - 27 October 2022
Sometimes you have to apply for jobs so many times before being chosen for one, which is understandable since the client is responsible for choosing a suitable tutor for themselves.

Very nice people to work with but there is a level of unfairness
Support Manager (Former Employee) - Home Based - 25 September 2022
There is a lot of work for support managers. The KPAs judged on are not always under your control. And honestly, the place is not really great or supportive if you ever get sick and need hospitalization or struggle with mental health
Pros
Competitive salary and commission
Cons
Inadequate and inappropriate KPAs for support team

Healthy working environment with really wonderful people
Tutor Experience Manager (Former Employee) - Remote - 20 June 2022
Working remotely and full-time, the working hours were reasonable and the work-life balance was great. My colleagues were all lovely, with great attitudes and great work ethics. The company culture is supportive and feels like family. A great job if you want to learn new skills, whilst having great guidance from the team leader. Overall, TM2 is a company that does what it says it does: providing excellent tutoring services to those who truly need it.

Many tutoring opportunities
Tutor (Current Employee) - Remote - 17 February 2022
This company is great for entry level tutors. The management of tutors and clients is hands down the best system for the industry. I have nothing negative to say about working here only positives!

Good Job to grow and learn
Tutor Experience Manager (Former Employee) - Durban, KwaZulu-Natal - 31 January 2022
This was my first job out of university and a good introduction to working in the education sector and working from home. The company has good cultural values and a comfortable and efficient working atmosphere.
Pros
Work from home. Fun team to work with. Learn a lot on the job.
Cons
May have to work long hours during busy periods. Commission structure not very favorable.

Stimulating, investing in young people's lives.
Tutor (Former Employee) - Roodepoort, Gauteng - 8 July 2021
Good company to work for. Pay structure could be reviewed a bit more to ensure tutors can stay on tutoring and consider that job as their full time employment. You build a trust relationship with the children you tutor, and it feels bad leaving them, due to poor pay.
Pros
Own time
Cons
Low pay

High School Mathematics Tutor (Former Employee) - Capetown South Africa - 17 June 2021
Teachme2 connected me with students for tutoring and I enjoyed the flexibility where time is concerned and the one to one approach. It was good to see the students gaining confidence in the subject.
Pros
flexible
Cons
difficult to do as full time as teaching slots are irregular

Incredible!
Tutor Experience Manager (Former Employee) - Cape Town, Western Cape - 1 February 2021
This was my first 'proper' job since leaving university, and wow, did it exceed my expectations! The team that I was placed in was supportive from the get go, and whilst the job role challenged me and stretched me, I never felt out of my depth. The culture is fantastic, and every employee truly emulates what is written on paper. My team was gentle, kind, supportive - and we had so much fun together collaborating on various projects. Whilst a hierarchy does exist, you get the opportunity to work with everyone from operational leads to interns, and everyone's contribution counts equally. This company is changing lives in the education sector, and I felt so proud to be apart of it! The work is interesting and engaging, and there is always someone to help when required. Thank you, Teach Me 2, for growing me and pushing me out of my comfort zone. There was plenty of opportunities for career advancement and leadership talent never goes unnoticed.
Pros
Flexibility, Support, Working from Home

Productive and flexible workspace
Tutor of Econometrics, Business statistics, Economics and French (Current Employee) - Cape Town, Western Cape - 30 April 2020
Productive, remote and flexible workspace. Work in FreeLance, depending on your notoriety as a tutor. The students you deal with are the one to advertise the quality of the service you offer. The team support is very proactive, to assist both the tutor and the student, whenever this is needed.

Teach Me 2 Tutor experience
Tutor (Current Employee) - Gauteng - 31 January 2020
I have been working with Teach Me 2 for over 3 years as a tutor and I would say the experience has been nothing short of amazing. The handling of tutorial jobs from start to finish is just seamless. They do all the hard work in the background while I just focus on making sure the learner gets the required level of support. I am happy to be part of such an awesome family and have no plans of assisting students with any other tutoring company. Keep up the great work Teach Me 2!

Great part-time job at university
Tutor (Former Employee) - Cape Town, Western Cape - 10 January 2020
It was a great way to earn some money, while also studying full-time. I learnt a lot about myself, as well as being able to explain concepts to other people. I thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of helping people understand content that they were struggling with prior to our tutoring sessions.
