Transnet is a huge company that has stood the test of times. Its policies are clear and sound. A very safety-oriented company that cares for the lives of its employees. I've worked for almost 10 years and my experience with the company I've not found anywhere else. I regret why I left TFR

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
I have learn to work with all different people despite of a race or couler. I also had a good communication with my employer but not all the time as sometimes I would be working under pressure but safely as it was the motto I dedicated my self to it.
Daily job satisfactory schedules in place. People skills and how to train personnel. Trained as safety representative. At that time management was good. Co-workers great. Long hours and open to weather conditions. New what was expected of you daily.
Full benefit coverage
It was a very big opportunity to work for Transnet . The best part of my job was traveling long distances , and meeting new co-workers. The most un-enjoyable expierence was trouble shooting on locomotives.
Good pention fund and medical aid fund.
I would like so much to re enter my career as a loco driver, especially on the diesel locomotives
years ago i have worked very long but also very good hours
