Stable, happy culture
Stable, happy culture. When we worked, we were serious, but excited about our goals. We had lots of launches from the garment industry and the marketing launches of Truworths which was fun!

Productive high level of professionalism and fun to work there
Productive, high level of professionalism, you grow as an individual and become a better person, it's fun to work there, I don't regret that I ever work at Truworths, yes there will always be issues in any company, such as meeting people where you don't see eye to eye but at the end of the day you focus on what brought you there, and focus on growing yourself

Cold and stiff
Was a terrible environment to work in . The manager was awful , rude and pretentious . The store also refuses to put up cameras and sensors and blames staff for what gets stolen because of their poor preparation and will make employees sign written warnings for their short falls.

Interview Questions

Introduce yourself.

Shared on 21 September 2019

The questions might vary from interviewer to interviewer however these are the questions I was asked 1. In a few words how would you describe yourself? 2. How would those words mentioned before help you in the retail industry? 3. Have you ever been in a high pressure situation? 4. How would you handle a customer throwing a tantrum? 5. If your colleague, were to ask your boss if she could leave work early and your colleague says because it’s for family reasons however you know she’s going to a party. What do you do? 6. Your colleague needs a R10 taxi fare and wants to take money out the cash register and pay the difference the following day. What do you do? Questions 5 & 6 are scenario-based questions to see how you would act in terms of etiquette and decency. The answers to 5 & 6 are based entirely on your knowledge and opinion. Hope this helps! Good luck prospective
