sucks
Package Handler (Former Employee) - Bethlehem - 27 June 2022
Horrible place to work in, not recommend. They think you're replaceable. I learn nothing beside watching the videos. They barely teach you anything, but make you stand like you don't know nothing without training. I worked my butt off, and the supervisor is rude and do not care about you. The only i enjoy is the weightlifting and exercises. it very physically demanding and tiring.

Regular warehouse work
It's tough physical labor. A thankless job. Some people are nice but some are not, there's not really an emphasis on culture. They def try to talk up certain 'benefits' that aren't really benefits

HR Specialist (Former Employee) - Johannesburg, Gauteng - 26 May 2020
No Comment as the circumstances changed and it was somewhat of a challenge to work under the management at that stage - lots of dismissals and lots of staff leaving due to pressure.

Working at ups was tough for week
UPS Package Handler (Former Employee) - 7925 ronson road - 14 January 2020
I only say it was tough for a week because adjusting to graveyard hours was a small challenge and being sore from all the lifting from that week I would be doing but it wasn't a time consuming job I was still able to go out and do something in the daytime if I needed too and management was very helpful to new hires and made sure we didn't just stand around in one place

Area Manager East & Southern Africa ASC Countries (Former Employee) - Durban, KwaZulu-Natal - 10 July 2019
As a service provider the company's main focus is customer service and delivery. In order to meet this, the company has high standards and procedures to adhere to.
If you have the ability and willingness to make the customer your priority, this is definitely the company for you.

The hardest part of the job
Operations Supervisor (Current Employee) - Cape Town - 15 February 2018
UPS is a International company and as such each region reports into a district which prohibits basic decision making locally as all decisions is pending approval from Management at a District level, this is very frustrating as certain decisions/changes has to be made ASAP but due to the red tape is prolonged by District approval and impact the day to day operation.
