Good company poor management
Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Oklahoma City, OK - 27 January 2023
This is a great company to work for the only dental side is that you will have no time at home because you go in at two o'clock in the morning and if you don't know how to deliver to a location you will never learn because they don't teach you that you have to jest go in and be lost until you figure out every location that you've ever been to
Pros
Pay
Cons
Mangament and communication

Easy tasks kept busy.
Diesel Technician (Former Employee) - Oklahoma City, OK - 25 January 2023
It was a good place to work for. Had to show them I was capable of the work then I was put on graveyard shift. Drivers came in and out no problems as far as the work goes.
Pros
Had dinners at times and good break rooms.
Cons
Everything was good until covid required testing and vaccine required.

Hard work.
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Oklahoma City, OK - 25 January 2023
Lots of work, which can be a bad thing. Due to lots of turnover, new guys have lots of extra work put on them. Mandatory Saturdays, on call days may as well be regular work days.

It is a family!
Operations Support (Current Employee) - Colombia - 23 January 2023
You go to work with your co-workers who quickly become as a family! You learn a lot about everything in the business, not just about your position's duties. Management is amazingly comprehensive. Workplace culture is functionality oriented. Hardest part of the job is leaving! The most enjoyable part of the job is how fun you spend your time there with your co-workers!
Pros
PTO's

Hard work great pay
Class A CDL Driver (Current Employee) - Perth Amboy, NJ - 22 January 2023
The pay is great! But the leadership is terrible. They don’t care about their drivers. If you bring any problems to management, it’s met by shoulder shrugs and eye rolls. 70+ hour weeks. Most drivers are on “light duty” because lack of equipment, forcing driver to hurt themselves. If you can do better than this company then go do better!

Once a buyer, always a
Buyer (Current Employee) - Rosemont, IL - 19 January 2023
A typical day involves 200 emails, rude salespeople. Everyone is constantly second guessing your decisions. Management micromanages. Which means you can’t make decisions. Really no room for advancement. job is super stressful and demanding. But if you want a promotion, you have to find a way to make time for difficult and time consuming projects. The best part of the job is the remote aspect. And when you do go into the office, it’s actually really nice.

Fairly simple job, but poor management and unwelcoming crew
Order Selector (Former Employee) - Menomonee Falls, WI - 18 January 2023
The job entails driving a 2-pallet jack around the warehouse and picking whatever your device tells you. There are 3 zones you can pick from: dry, cooler, freezer. You'll start off in dry for training but will ultimately end up in the freezer because it is the least popular zone and because the place is ran by seniority, the people at the bottom of the totem pole will always be stuck unless they manage to stay around for 5+ years and then maybe they'll have a decision. Management is a mess. One manager quit and another one was fired while I was employed there which says a lot about the place. The company has no problem replacing problem workers. They will preach that they care about you and that you are "family" but the reality is that you are just a number. The existing crew there is unwelcoming to newcomers especially those that don't pick things up fast. The company likes to hold theirselves up to a high standard but the way they manage things and treat some of their employees reflect the opposite. The bottom line is that you will be stuck picking in the freezer in the end with management that is unreliable. I would recommend going somewhere else and not working here unless you are desperate.
Pros
Daily overtime, above average pay
Cons
Short breaks, unwelcoming crew, poor management

Would never recommend anybody working for this company until they decide to do away with the good old boy mentality friends taking care of friends
Heavy duty Fleet diesel mechanic (Former Employee) - Clifton Park, NY - 16 January 2023
I work for US foods for well over 20 years in the beginning it was a good place to work but as they switched owner's promoted from within it became a good old boy's type of place to work if you weren't friends with the managers and they didn't like you for some reason or another they gave you all the c*** work and took care of the lazy people that knew how to kiss but. The managers are very unqualified for their jobs they got their jobs because of being friends with the former manager who left to go to corporate or other divisions I would not recommend working for these people there is no family life when you work for them there is no life. Just Stress And more stress
Pros
Can't really come up with any example of this company.
Cons
Hastile and very unsafe work environment.

Promotion within and Solid pay
Warehouse Worker (Current Employee) - Coralville, IA - 16 January 2023
Starting pay is great with an incentive for cases picked every week. The company also prefers to hire from within. Great company culture with plenty of encouragement and support from management.

Shipping/Receiving Clerk- Lead (Former Employee) - North Little Rock, AR - 15 January 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Sales team was the best part bout the company. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The director was the most stressful part of the job. He wanted to micromanage everything. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? The work environment is toxic. You expect it to be a little bit of drama but, not to the point where you have a group of people plotting to get on person fired because they don't like the fact that they are doing their job. What is a typical day like for you at the company? A typical day is chaos. You go to work one supervisor trying to supervisor 30 plus employees and keep them all inside the built.

Okay place
Private (Former Employee) - Fife, WA - 13 January 2023
Management needs work. Some managers abuse work time. Overall OK place to work. However, if you hire better managers that help the work flow it would be better. Work life balance was not that great.
Pros
Benefits and PTO
Cons
Management

Hard place
Order Selector (Former Employee) - Plymouth, MN - 12 January 2023
It’s to demanding, you have no life outside of work. And there’s no way to keep up with a household specially if you live alone as a single parent. Having said that, they Pay what they demand. Which is a lot
Pros
Great pay
Cons
No life

Used to be a great place to work
Transportation Supervisor (Former Employee) - Port Orange, FL - 11 January 2023
Have been with this company for a very long time and now at every turn it is getting worse and worse. Most of all the senior people have quit or given up. The work environment is extremely hostile, constant threats and ZERO leadership. The people with great leadership skills have all left. The low level managers (supervisors) are OK, but only one has any true leadership and in depth job knowledge. The others are just hanger ons or yes men. It is a production based business but if you do not play golf, fish or hangout with upper management you will go nowhere and get the bad routes. They run at or over DOT hours everyday. Then blame you when you cannot get it done. Very sad as it used to be a fairly decent place to work. Stay away from this place at all cost. The new management there is worse than the old managers. No one has any experience in leading people, let alone running route. New VPO, Trans Mgr's and Div President are a total joke. A pack of Boy Scouts can run the place better. HR is also a joke, they are not there for you. They are solely there just to protect the Companies interest.
Pros
none anymore
Cons
hostile work environment, little to no leadership, low pay, constant lies

I liked it. It was fast pace the nights go by fast, love that type of work.
Order Selector (Former Employee) - Oklahoma City, OK - 11 January 2023
The pay is really good. Great benefits, fast pace the nights go by super fast if you stay moving. If you like to stay moving this is definitely the job for you. I couldn't work nights at the time so I had to quit, hopefully I can get my job back now that he's older.
Pros
Yes free lunches
Cons
I never liked to take breaks.
