Everyone should experience working at Unilever at least once in their lives! Environment is Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous - can really keep the blood pumping!

Unilever was a great place to begin a career, they are fantastic at up-skilling young engineers, scientists and marketeers alike. The lessons that you learn will stay with you throughout your professional career. The work place is a melting pot of ideas: different categories HPC, Foods, Beverages, Icecream, etc. and functions: Marketing, Packaging, Processing, Finance, Procurement, etc. You make touch all of these at some time or another and build networks that will last a lifetime. The days are long but fulfilling with the buzz and vibe of teams of like-minded people going about their days. At times it's tough working on Projects, epecially when you need to work in virtual teams with other countries and time-zones but it's hugely gratifying to see a product you have had a hand in launching in the aisle at your local supermarket.
Pros
Great work environment, opportunity to work cross-categories and functions, opportunities to travel and learn with the best
Cons
Below average remuneration package.
