Productive workplace for aspiring academics
Lecturer (Current Employee) - Cape Town, Western Cape - 30 January 2023
Its very developmental for aspiring academics. There is a large opportunity to grow and develop as an academic. Particularly if you come from a previously marginalized group

Commpetitive
Part-time Lecturer (Former Employee) - Cape Town, Western Cape - 9 October 2022
Rigid and set in their ways -though this may depend on the department. Unresponsive administrative processes. Getting reimbursement for work related assignments is a nightmare. Its a large institution, riding on its past glorious reputation .Oversight in some new sectors is lacking and therefore affecting quality of work output. However, their past systems were great and one can expect top quality research work in some departments
