Very nice company to work for. Has lots of opportunities.

It has lots of opportunities, any employee find themselves working for it are very lucky. Incentives are up for crabs every month.. Salary is on to balance the life.. Vodacom is really a company to work for.. Am looking forward to have opportunity again.

Enjoyed

We had a very tightly knit team that took care of each other and skills and knowledge was shared among the staff members. I found working there to be fun and exciting as we learnt about new products and services regularly

It was fun working for the company. The atmosphere was vibrant. I gained my first experience as a call center consultant and experience my customer care skills.

fun and comfortable work place

i have for vodacom. worked at vodashop Midrend. i loved the working environment. its comfortable. everything you need is right next to you. there is no need to just leave your customer to do copies somewhere else. the environment is lively for both staff and customers. everything is accessible.

Great working environment, job shadowing in vaarious departments

I learnt how to deal all types of customers, assisting with sorting out various queries. Liaising with various departments in having the clients problem resolved. Enjoyable part is being part of a team that has become as close as family

not so productive work place

my job description was not clear which leaded to non-productivity. i learnt to build leadership skills and concentration levels, management is very stressful and has favoritism, my co-workers were not easy to approach and the hardest part of i my job was to get approval but i enjoyed interacting with clients.

it is a friendly environment

i receive the parcels from RAM and at 9 o clock we start receiving until about 11 o clock. if there is time i will do the spares i will do OBF;s and call customers that have quotes from head office if there are any problems i and other staff will deal with them. about 3 in the afternoon we will despatch the phones back to the stores

Great company to work for

To assist customers with e-mail and social media queries regarding Vodacom products and services To provide multi skilled assistance via the non-voice (e-mail and social media) channel to customers with queries relating to Vodacom products and services and affiliated third party vendors. To take ownership, analyze, investigate, facilitate, resolve and follow up on complex and escalated queries To ensure that all escalated/not satisfied service complaints receive a personal follow up until resolved. To liaise with other divisions to effectively resolve the customers query. To escalate queries and expedite turnaround times with the relevant role players. To provide interim replies. To ensure FCR and prevent repeat emails/tweets To assist other departments with testing and roll out of new products as required To meet departmental service level agreements To provide input to the exco reports and queries.

Fun workplace

One day I had to assist a co-worker with an irate/angry customer that had a query about her billing after she had initiated a call during pick hour at 19:57pm and she remained on the call till 20:20pm believing that her call is being charged on her free minutes off-which that was no the case. When she later checked her billing statement, noticing that she had been charged an X amount of money for the call, she got furious - The importance of being able to be calm and positive with all kinds characters - Team buildings were the most enjoyable part of the job

Productive derpatrment

Inbound Call Center.Answering calls assisting customers,both prepaid and contract with data connections via modems,wi-fi's,routers,etc.configuring and setting up e-mail accounts either on handsets or laptops[desktops].Explaining and educating customers on how the billing system runs at Vodacom.I learned at lot at Vodacom with regards to customer service and being the best that you can be.

Productive company

It is a great company to work for and I am especially enjoying the department that I work in as I assist retails stores and vodashops to assist customers with their queeries. I dont work on sundays only monday to saturday.
