Woolworths is a great company to work for. The employers are kind and treat the employees with respect and the same way. The employees work well with each other and are teamplayers
Pros

Cons
Hours are good
As each and every company they have their flaws, but most affected are staff levels. Staff levels have more to do and less to say. Which I feel like their voice are not really listened to
Pros
No free lanch
Cons
There are long hours
Very fun working environment, friendly staff we were all treated each other like family. There are few things was not happy about they kept people in the same position for long time. Favourism here and there Management they managed well they ensure to stick by the policy at all the times, thats what I love most professionalism. Once they employed you full training is provided and is very useful.
Pros
Incentives
Cons
Hours
As I was working for Woolworths foods , I was welcomed well by the stuff and management . Honestly they never made me feel useless or any of some sort reason being that am a fast learner and I made sure I serve customers with my all be it my smile and being in a happy place . What I loved the most is that you get helped when you don't understand something concerning customers and what happens in the till. I enjoyed working with the stuff from Braken Gardens. They are the best.
Pros
Waste vouchers and easter eggs
Cons
Conducive working hours
Woolworth it's a very nice place to work for I can recomment someone to apply for the job Meaning how customers are treated Special treatment you get.
Pros
Buying waste if you don't have enough cash
Cons
If you're required to do so
I worked as a cashier. It was good overall but i was tired everyday and it was hard to do anything when i get home. But the pay was good and good benefits
Pros
Free coffee and we got free fruits and benefits(employee discounts)
Cons
Short breaks, long working hours and constant queues and sometimes lunch was cut short.
I would recommend working at this company to anyone because of the company culture and how diverse it is to the worker's. Very well maintained and you get soo much benefits as an employee, such as their waste sale and company discount very satisfying.
Pros
Free tea, coffee and milk
Cons
Difficult customers
Loved working for the company and wouldn't mind joining the company again. It was a different interms of sign offs and trainings, but it was worth the while and it worked in my favor.
Pros
Paid for booking out during meetings
Cons
Bonus
They give you proper training through all the things done at work. The management is good and always motivating the staff about doing great work. The intergrity is what Woolworths is good at. Woolworths take responsibility to everything that concerns customers issues
You need to be an honest pesron who is willing to take challenges and enjoy yo work and also be a peoples person here because they are passinare about customer satisfaction
Pros
Low prices for the employees
Cons
Time based hours
It's a very good company to work for. They have very good benefits but if taken reduces your salary alot. You don't have to work for a long period before getting a promotion and hard work is noticed
Pros
Benefits, good environment, friendly management
Cons
Long hours, half of the staff transport fees gets deducted from your salary, no staff meals
Get to work in the morning start with hygiene because is very important to work in a clean environment. Fix the sales floor, collect float(cash) from the cash office to prepare before the shop opens. Working at Woolworths has helped me to interact with people, and broaden my skills such as communication, customer service, decision making, problem solving, interpersonal skills. The long hours was the hardest part of the job but with time you get used to and the best part was working in an environment where people's opinions are valued, respected and given opportunities.
Pros
Free clothes
Cons
Long hours
It is a phenomenal company, growth within the company is fast, if you are willing and able to learn. Policies and procedures is driven daily. Attention to detail is at the heart of the company. Quality and style, precision and execution of displays are world class.
Pros
Medical aid is provided when you join the company.
Cons
Sometimes workload can become much, in the case of absencenteism.
