Woolworths is a great company to work for. Management style is great as we leading by B style of leadership. At Woolworths we are obsessed with quality. favourable working conditions
A day at work would start at 6:00am and end at 20:00pm. A normal day would include retail trading, floor walks, leading people, teaching, customer service, supply chain mgt, financial mgt, budgets, people development. My co-workers was awesome. Mgt was only in there roles to enrich them selves. Having to be away from my family for so long. Loved the pace of the retail environment. Everyday was different and brought new challenges.
long hours and terrible managers
I am a very easy person to work with, but I have high expectations from my team which includes basic details on the floor like( gaps, hygiene, stock availability, customer service, uniform, panctuality-) as these all points I mentioned will impact on morale and sales
i work 8 hour shift and 5 days a week. i get two off days in a week and two weekend offs in a month. i planned a day using a daiy game plan (includes floor covering and deciplines) and create customer emails forwarding to my regional manager then to my store managers. I have learned a lot from my manager as i can perform some of their duties cureently. My co-workers have the ability to work at under no cercumstance and the team is exellent and fun to work with. The hardest part would be recieving on stock and making sure that all orders get be received properly. The most enjoyable part of the job is interacting with customers day in day out.
ten to twelve
