the most typical days at work were monday's,i have learned a lot of things about safety that i didn't know of.the management was not that good when it came to leading by example, she would bring our payslips late and she would arrive late at meetings. it was fun working with them they know their job very well and are good people to hang around. the hardest part was working in a dusty or rainy day. the most enjoyable part of the days was when we compete for r400 food vouchers.
every time the productions were good we would get free lunch
working on weekends and holidays
Everyday is a busy day. One always works hard and sometimes burn themselves out. There is a lot of stress and a lot of pressure to get all documentation out before 48 hours. I love what I do. When the subject of the people whom I work with appears all I can say is there are some who are absolutely wonderful to work with and others you must just bear with. I learned how to cope under pressure, how to deal with rude or angry clients, how to set time limits for work on my desk, how to work in a team. I learned what aspects to look for in a good friend in the working environment and I learned how to keep my personal problems at home. I learned that one has to work hard for themselves and not for others. I learned different skills, how to use different programs, how to communicate with a client professionally, and most of all I learned responsibility. The hardest part of the job was to fill in for one or more co-workers who were on leave or sick. The most enjoyable part of the job was the Christmas Functions, when you see everyone happy and not grumpy because of being stressed. No comment concerning management.
Its easy to learn the process.
It is a long and tiring process.
