Full job description
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and lead games, sports, arts and crafts, talent shows, and themed activities.
- Supervise children and teenagers during all scheduled programs.
- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all participants.
- Welcome children and parents and explain the youth program.
- Create a fun, inclusive, and positive environment for children of different ages and cultures.
- Plan daily activity schedules according to company standards.
- Encourage participation and maintain high energy throughout activities.
- Monitor attendance and maintain accurate records of participants.
- Assist with special events, birthday celebrations, and holiday programs.
- Respond professionally to children's needs, minor incidents, and parent inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the children's activity areas.
- Follow child safeguarding, health, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or behavioral concerns to supervisors.
- Work closely with the Entertainment and Guest Services teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Qualification in Early Childhood Development, Education, Childcare, Recreation, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
- Previous experience working with children in schools, day-care centres, camps, resorts, hotels, or cruise ships is preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet child safeguarding requirements.
- Required language: German & English
Pay: R20 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
