Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead games, sports, arts and crafts, talent shows, and themed activities.
  • Supervise children and teenagers during all scheduled programs.
  • Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all participants.
  • Welcome children and parents and explain the youth program.
  • Create a fun, inclusive, and positive environment for children of different ages and cultures.
  • Plan daily activity schedules according to company standards.
  • Encourage participation and maintain high energy throughout activities.
  • Monitor attendance and maintain accurate records of participants.
  • Assist with special events, birthday celebrations, and holiday programs.
  • Respond professionally to children's needs, minor incidents, and parent inquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the children's activity areas.
  • Follow child safeguarding, health, safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Report any accidents, injuries, or behavioral concerns to supervisors.
  • Work closely with the Entertainment and Guest Services teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Qualification in Early Childhood Development, Education, Childcare, Recreation, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Previous experience working with children in schools, day-care centres, camps, resorts, hotels, or cruise ships is preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet child safeguarding requirements.
  • Required language: German & English

Pay: R20 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
