We are a dynamic advertising agency specialising in the food retail sector. We help a major retail brand bring its products to life through high-volume, high-impact campaigns. We are looking for a meticulous "final line of defence" to ensure our client’s brand standards are perfectly maintained across every platform.

The Role
As our Proofreader, you will be responsible for the final polish of all creative outputs. Your primary focus will be on retail leaflets, print and digital advertisements, and social media content. You aren't just looking for typos; you are ensuring logic, flow, and pixel-perfect design alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Retail Assets: Scrutinise weekly retail leaflets for price accuracy, product descriptions, and promotional consistency.
• Linguistic Excellence: Correct all spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax errors in both print and digital formats.
• Brand Consistency: Act as the "Tone Police," ensuring all content aligns with the specific client voice and brand guidelines.
• Fact-Checking: Verify critical retail data, including dates, prices, unit weights, and legal disclaimers.
• Design & Digital QA: Check creative layouts against original briefs to ensure font consistency, logo placement, and functional links in digital ads.

Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years of professional proofreading experience, ideally within an advertising agency or FMCG/Retail environment.
• Linguistic Mastery: Exceptional command of the English language and deep familiarity with style guides
• Detail-Oriented: An "eagle eye" for spotting minute errors in complex, data-heavy documents like multi-page leaflets.
• Tech Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Acrobat for digital markup and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace for documentation.
• Resilience: Ability to maintain total accuracy while working under tight retail deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
