Full job description

We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic and presentable individuals to join our FOH team as waiters/waitresses. As a vital part of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to ensure an enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables

- Present menus and explain menu items, specials, and promotions

- Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers

- Communicate orders to kitchen staff and bartenders in a timely manner

- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously

- Check on customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns

- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests

- Assist with cleaning duties and maintain cleanliness in the dining area

- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service

- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times

- Have a smile on your face

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role a necessity

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work well in a team and independently

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

- Food handler's certification is a plus

- Must be able to get to and from Sea Point after hours
