About the Role

We are a South African technology company specializing in custom web and mobile applications. We are looking for a detail-oriented Application Support & QA Analyst to join our team and play a key role in system quality, configuration, monitoring, and client support.

This role sits at the intersection of QA, system configuration, and technical support, and is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, structured testing, and working closely with both clients and developers.

This role requires strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. It is not a call-centre support role.

Key Responsibilities

· Investigate and resolve client tickets

· Set up and run test sheets and test scenarios

· Implement and maintain system configurations

· Daily system health checks

· After hours standby (rotational - this is done from home)

Required Skills & Experience

· 1+ years’ experience in application support, QA, or technical support

· Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Experience working with:

· Web-based systems

· System configurations

Client-facing support environments

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Skills that will be beneficial:

· Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.

· Comfortable investigating issues using logs, data files, and dashboards

Exposure to:

· Software QA testing methodologies

· API documentation

· SQL or reporting exposure

· Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. Zendesk or DevOps)
