Graphic Designer

About the Role

Computer Mania is looking for a talented and commercially minded Graphic Designer to join our marketing team.

This role is responsible for the visual execution of campaigns, promotions, retail marketing, and brand communications across Computer Mania, Reboot, and GoMaxx. You'll work across digital, print, retail, e-commerce, and social media channels, helping bring campaigns to life while maintaining high creative and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design monthly catalogues, promotional material, and campaign assets
• Create digital marketing creative for websites, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising
• Develop retail artwork including POS material, shelf talkers, signage, and in-store graphics
• Prepare print-ready artwork and supplier files
• Adapt campaign creative into multiple formats and specifications
• Create website banners and e-commerce promotional graphics
• Maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints
• Assist with campaign concept development and creative ideation
• Develop templates and design systems to improve efficiency and scalability
• Manage artwork version control and creative asset libraries
• Support basic motion graphics and video content requirements where needed

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of professional graphic design experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Strong experience in both digital and print design production
• Excellent layout, typography, and visual communication skills
• Experience working within retail, e-commerce, or consumer-focused brands is advantageous
• Understanding of social media platforms and paid advertising formats
• Strong attention to detail and production accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
• Motion graphics or video editing experience will be advantageous

Pay: R30 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
