Quality Control Inspector

Role Overview

As a QC Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring that products consistently meet design requirements. You will verify and inspect products against predefined specifications and criteria, ensuring high standards of quality throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct In-Process and Final Product Inspections
• Perform Dimensional and Functional Testing
• Identify, Document and Report Non-Conformances
• Approve or Reject Incoming Materials
• Maintain Accurate Quality Records and Inspection Reports
• Safety and Housekeeping
• Support Continuous Improvement Activities
• Ensure Compliance with Quality Management System Requirements

Desired Skills and Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 (required)
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ work experience as QA engineer in electronic manufacturing.
• Production experience in high volume electronic manufacturing will be advantageous.
• Auditing experience both internal and external.
• IPC 600/610/620 will be advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards ISO 9001.
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings and written specifications is required.
• Knowledge and understanding of tolerances.
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office)
• Good numerical skills and an understanding of statistics
