Full job description
Aldo is looking for a passionate, results-driven Sales Supervisor to support store operations and lead our sales team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoys mentoring others, and is committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences while achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Supervise staff during shifts, ensuring productivity and accountability.
- Ensure all staff adhere to customer service standards and company values
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies
- Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure all cash handling, banking, and procedures are followed accurately
- Drive Upselling, cross-selling, and product knowledge to maximize revenue
- Assist with staff scheduling and shift planning when required.
Requirements & Skills;
- Minimum 3 years retail experience (essential)
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience (advantageous)
- Strong sales and customer service orientation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and decision-making skills
- High level of energy, confidence, and initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Matric - essential
