Full job description
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Shop Assistant to join our tobacconist team. The ideal candidate must be confident with customers, willing to learn about products, and able to work responsibly in a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow store rules regarding age-restricted products.
Promote products, specials, and discounts to customers.
Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
Assist with opening and closing duties when required.
Assist customers in-store with product questions and purchases.
Provide friendly, helpful, and professional customer service.
Operate the till and handle cash/card payments accurately.
Keep the shop clean, neat, and well-stocked.
Pack, price, and display products correctly.
Pay: R33,00 - R35,00 per hour
