Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or relevant equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
  • Qualification Archive Certificate will serve as an advantage
  • Minimum End User Computing Certificate
  • 1 - 2 years' experience in a financial environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Utilise and develop municipal administrative procedures and principles to manage records within the salary administration to ensure effective and efficient systematic administration of records and documented information for its entire life cycle, from creation / receipt, classification, use, filing, retention, storage, to final disposition
  • Support salary administrators with general administrative and clerical duties to ensure the smooth running of general administration of the salary administration office
  • Assist in attending to pay office related queries to ensure that enquiries are addressed efficiently and timeously
  • Perform general operational processes to ensure that all processes comply with set standards, procedures and policies
  • Apply governance and risk management to ensure that completed work adheres to governance and legislative requirements
  • Apply financial processes to prevent wasteful expenditure
  • Maintain customer service orientation to provide exceptional service to clients
