We are seeking an experienced, energetic and disciplined Restaurant Manager to join our team and play a key role in running the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about hospitality, people, and quality.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and an excellent guest experience
- Hiring, training, managing, and (when necessary) dismissing staff
- Handling HR functions including scheduling, performance reviews, and staff development
- Maintaining quality control across all food and beverage offerings
- Managing supplier relationships, placing orders, and conducting regular stock takes
- Monitoring costs, waste, and efficiency to ensure profitability
- Driving PR initiatives and promoting the restaurant’s brand within the community
- Upholding health, safety, and food hygiene standards at all times
- Tracking Statistics and Reporting Compliance to Targets with Owners
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within hospitality
- Strong leadership, great at setting a good example and enforcing high quality work ethic from others
- Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resources
- Must have great organization skills and be able to put order in without going into overwhelm
- To stay within close approximation of Century City and to have your own transport, resulting in zero issues arriving and leaving the restaurant
- Fluent in speaking and understanding English
- Have great communication skills and to be in daily communication with owners
- Have a good understanding and ability to control others
- Have high levels of self discipline and motivation to produce change
- Have a baseline understanding of Statistics and how to track and report them
- Must have a willingness to learn and work with the owners
- Must have high energy levels and be able to contribute as a creative in the business
- Must have the ability to create and follow checklists
- Must have the ability and desire to go into action and produce results daily
- Must be product oriented and not money motivated
- Able to Push, Debug and Drive products with the team
- Able to Name, Want and Get products resulting in expansion
- Must have high levels of Confront and be able to have hard disciplinary communications with staff and be able to hear and acknowledge complaints from customers and resolve these complaints to customer satisfaction
- Must be clean and smart in appearance at all times
- Have the ability to disagree with non standard actions and be able to correct them immediately thus resulting in standard actions
- Be able to do inspections and quality control various areas of the restaurant
- Able to meet with suppliers and represent the restaurant in a professional manner
- Must be available for a video interview and a trial period immediately

Performance reviews will be done quarterly where strong performances will be met with adequate rewards and lack of performance will need to be presented with solutions and actions of immediate corrections.
